Nice Shit Song

"This album was a single written and performed by Anthony Harden.  Ralo's Sound Engineer, Chris Harden laid the funky tunes to the lyrics and produced the album. This song gets close to my heart, as it reminds me of my Momma always saying, ''You can't be buying all that crap with YO looks, so you betta get a job.'  She was so sweet."
-Pumpa (Manager)

"This was a treat of a song.  I really enjoyed creating the background music.  This is one area I am trying to really improve on as it provides so much support for a song.  Background can really ruin good vocals I think."
-Chris (Sound Engineer)
"I wrote this song for people who buy a lotta stuff and can’t afford it.  See the cruiser in the photo - that's mine.  I'm hoping revenues from this album's sales will help me get it out of pawn.  Please send all donations for starving children in China to the Turbo PT Cruiser Fund - Harden Foundation.  Just ten cents a day from your wallet will help me roll in my smooth, retro style."
-Anthony Harden (Singer/Song Writer)
"That's my melodicrous voice you hear in the background at the end.  I SO make this album.  Anthony once told me he really looks up to me for inspiration on vocals...  Well that's not EXACTLY what he said, so don't quote me.  In fact, don't mention it to him.  No, he really doesn't need to know I said that.  Where you goin'?"
-Ralo (Singer/Song Writer)

About the Song

Production

Nice Shit Song**** In keeping with the tradition of Anthony's last smash hit, this tune was written, performed and produced in three cities. Anthony decided to write this song “for people who buy a lotta shit and can’t afford it.” Anthony recorded an a capella version on tape, used by Chris as the reference for the music, written in Tampa. Afterwards, Anthony recorded the vocals in their hometown Anniston, AL, over their holiday visit and the final production edits took place in Tampa. I want to use Frooty Loops more an more as the drum track in my music, as it really is a powerful loops tool, with swing and many effects to give a bit more real feeling to the drums.  This tune took advantage of a simple drum loop with a fun, supportive bass structure that gave it more breadth than I've typically gotten with most tunes I've done in the past.  On top is a simple guitar fill.
Instrumental Version* (Same as the above with no vocals, incase you like to Karaoke!)
