Ralo for President! 2005

Ralo thought it would be good to jump on the Presidential bandwagon for 2005.  He went further than most Rockers did, though, because he actually RAN for President, not just endorsed his favorite candidate, like most weak-kneed entertainers.

Both the Presidential candidates actually endorsed Ralo as their first choice for President Towel-boy, but did not support his main platform of legalized mraijuana, I mean mrjiuna, ... hold on, (puff) let me put this down... marijuana.

We just let Ralo think they meant Presidential candidate.  His fans were a bit confused I'll admit.  On the left, you'll see his fans supporting Ralo; they all look a bit rough after finishing off the complimentary brownies Ralo was giving out to supporting voters at the Rally.  Below that, are a couple of endorsement photos Ralo took with the other Presidential candidates.

And of course some MAJOR news correspondents had to get in on the action.  Below are some interviews.

"I've never seen a thirst for political knowledge like this Ralo fella, and to push the analogy a bit further, boy is he dehydrated. " -Peter Jennings
"Ralo?  Yeah, he's been on my show a dozen times.  I've never seen one person want to be the 'Best Boy' so badly. I keep telling Security he's not dangerous, but they can't help popping him at least once when he starts getting too close to the stage.  Is he a political mastermind? No.  Should he be elected President?  Absolutely not.  Do I think he's be great Presidential towel boy? You bet.  Pass me a brownie." - Jon Stuart
"Weak-kneed huh?  If you weren't a brittle old focker, Pumpa, I'd tackle your ass." - Bono
"Just wanted to say thanks for the 137 write-in votes outta Florida and Boston.  You guys are great! Don't worry, we'll get 'em next time the Olympics rolls around!" - Ralo
